Professional Experience
Ulrike Steinhorst joined EDF in 1990 after a stint in the office of the French Minister for European Affairs at the time of German reunification. At EDF, she held various positions before taking over responsibility for the Industrial Division’s international subsidiaries.
In 1999, she joined the Degussa Group in Germany where she was successively Human Resources Director of a division and then Head of Executive Development before returning to France in 2003 to take over the management of the group’s French activities.
In 2007, Ulrike Steinhorst joined EADS as Chief of Staff to the CEO. From 2012 to 2017, she was Head of Strategy, Planning and Finance in the Technical Division of the Airbus Group.
In 2017, Ulrike Steinhorst created a consulting firm, Nuria Consultancy. In addition to her consulting services, she is also a board member of three listed industrial companies – Valeo, Mersen and Albioma. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ecole des Mines de Paris and of the Franco-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Ulrike Steinhorst holds a German State Degree in Law, an Executive MBA from HEC, a DEA in Public Law (Paris II Panthéon) and is an alumna of ENA. She also holds the ICC certificate (Insead Coaching Certificate).
She is a Knight of the French Legion of Honor.
